Rehab

Cardiac rehab starts today. However I haven't heard from the neurologist about my neck MRA.
This makes me nervous. Friday when I got home I realized I couldn't feel a pulse on the right side of my neck. Then Sunday I felt it - weak but there.

I did get out of the house Sunday and went to Com Fest. I walked around for about two hours until a storm came. It was nice to be out.

Since reading Nineteen Minutes I've also read Fearless Fourteen and The Kite Runner. The Kite Runner I read yesterday. Actually I did nothing else yesterday.

I just need to get on with it and stop being so fearful. Today is, hopefully, the start of living again.

I'm off to see if I can get Water for Elephants.

What the heck is the holdup? Stupid medical system.

Isn't The Kite Runner FABULOUS? Water for Elephants is good thus far (I'm on Chapter 8)...definitely a different sort of story, but I like it.

Kim - The Kite Runner was fabulous. He's a great author.

Thanks for stopping by - I wish it was the end of August. I so need a trip, as a diversion.

Still no word for the doc.

Lasann, start shaking some trees and call the Doctor. Bug them, in fact! You should know this week. Explain your nerves cannot handle waiting over the long weekend.

I guess no news can be perceived as good news? But still, call and bug!

I saw the movie "Kite Runner" on an airplane, but I didn't read the book yet.

It's great that you're reading, going out, and keeping yourself occupied while you wait.

I agree with the Monsty -- bug them.

And I am so sorry for your recent problems...I had no idea. My time lately has been spent off-blog world and I am so out of touch with everyone. Please know I am thinking of you and sending good thoughts your way.

*big big hug*

I called the doc Tuesday but no call back. I went out this morning and planted my flowers that I bought two weeks ago. I can't sit in the house and act like an invalid.

I'm going back to WV to help my brother, son, and niece with their move. I'm driving my truck down so they can use it.

Next week I start rehab - twice a week. It's hard to get in shape.

Thanks all for you well wishes. I visited everyone's blog this morning but didn't leave comments everywhere.

Eh, don't worry. We all visit blogs without always commenting.

Loved Kite Runner. This reminds me that I need to bug my neighbor about my copy that she borrowed last year.

*hugs* Hang in there.

Lasann, Honey!
Sending *HUGS* and good thoughts, and prayers to you.
I want to remind you, to LOVE yourself, LOVE your body.
Tell them, tell your arteries you LOVE them.
I am thinking of you, Honey!
And good books, is wonderful medicine, always.

Have you ever read Illusions, by Richard Bach? Look for it at the library. It's soul medicine.

Sending you Love!
Be Well!
